Hosted by the College of Science, the event offers students hands\u2011on STEM experiences designed to spark curiosity and encourage exploration of scientific careers.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, visiting students are making liquid nitrogen ice cream, exploring the universe inside a portable planetarium, and examining the nano-world using a scanning electron microscope. High School Science Day is hosted by Dr. Sean McBride, associate professor of physics at Marshall University, and supported by the NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium (Grant #80NSSC25M7079).
