Bora also completed minors in chemistry and psychology and distinguished herself through academic excellence, research, and leadership during her time at Marshall.<\/p>\n<p>Bora was selected as a Summer 2025 Amgen Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the nation\u2019s most competitive undergraduate research programs. She was also recognized with Outstanding Research and Outstanding Undergraduate awards from the Biology Department and named Women\u2019s Cross Country Teammate of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>As a Yeager Scholar, Bora participated in a wide range of enrichment experiences, including study abroad in England and Greece and an interdisciplinary seminar experience that included a visit to Mammoth Cave. This fall, she will continue her academic journey by entering the Integrated Biomedical Sciences PhD program at the University of Kentucky.
