The 23\u2011day journey covers nearly 500 miles along the Ohio River, beginning in Kenova, West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>During the trip, students are conducting both individual and group research projects while gaining hands\u2011on experience in field data collection and ecological observation. The Ohio River Way Challenge highlights ongoing efforts to promote conservation, monitor environmental health, and encourage outdoor recreation along the river corridor.
