Marshall University chemistry professor Dr. Rosalynn Quinones was recognized at the July Marshall University Board of Governors meeting for her leadership of the newly launched West Virginia STEM Alliance.<\/p>\n
The WV STEM Alliance is dedicated to increasing the number of students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, with a particular focus on supporting students and communities across Appalachia. Through partnerships among institutions and organizations, the alliance aims to expand awareness of STEM opportunities and strengthen pathways into STEM education and careers.<\/p>\n
Under Quinones’ leadership, the initiative will foster collaboration across campuses, connect students with resources and opportunities, and encourage more high school and undergraduate students to explore graduate education and STEM professions.
