Payment for posters is due upon receipt of the invoice. In the case of cash\/check payments, those can be made at pickup.<\/p>\n

The instructions on this page are provided as a reference. If you have questions about making a payment, please contact the COS IT Center and\/or your fund administrator.<\/p>\n \n \n \n \n

Cash or check payments can be made in person in the COS IT Center office at pickup. Our office is located in suite 162 on the north side of the Science Building. The Science Building is located on the south side of 3rd Avenue near 17th Street.<\/p>\n

Checks need to be made out to “Marshall University Research Corporation”, and the invoice number needs to be noted on the check.<\/p>\n\n\t\n\n\t

  1. Complete a MURC Interfund Transfer form – include the invoice number(s) in the filename\n
      \n
    • Recipient will be COSITC,\u00a0 304-696-2908, Fund 111090, Org 2490<\/li>\n
    • College of Science prints – save a copy of the form to the “Posters – COSITC” folder using the naming convention “M Invoice# Invoice# Invoice#”<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Obtain fund manager signature<\/li>\n
    • Forward form to Bradley Smith and Kayla Perry at MURC<\/li>\n
    • College of Science prints – add poster information to “Poster Payment Tracking” spreadsheet<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n
      \n Foundation Payment\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n <\/path>\n <\/svg>\n <\/span>\n <\/button>\n\n \n

      1. Complete MU Foundation requisition form\n
          \n
        • Vendor will be Marshall University Research Corp., One John Marshall Drive, Huntington, WV 25755<\/li>\n
        • Add fund name and number<\/li>\n
        • In the description, please add a description including invoice numbers, request that the invoice numbers be indicated somewhere on the check, and note that this will be paid to MURC fund 111090\/2490. Foundation will contact MURC. MURC will create an invoice and return to Foundation. Foundation will use that invoice to pay MURC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Watch for requisition to gain all approvals\n

          • College of Science prints – Once approved, print the document. At the bottom, you will find the “Inv D#”. Save requisition to “Posters \u2013 COSITC” folder using the naming format “F D#” and each invoice (single or grouped) \u201cF D# Invoice# Invoice #”.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n
            \n State\/Marketplace Payment\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n <\/path>\n <\/svg>\n <\/span>\n <\/button>\n\n \n

              \n
            1. Go to MyMU and select the “My Support” section at the top right. Scroll to the bottom and click the “Procurement” button. On the next page, click the “Submit Procurement Request” button.<\/li>\n
            2. From the drop-down, select “Marshall Marketplace Issue\/Question – Non-Catalog Order Request”, and fill out the information about the poster.<\/li>\n
            3. Obtain an invoice from COSITC. This invoice will contain an itemized list and a total as well as the fund\/org that will be paid for the posters.<\/li>\n
            4. Find out what fund and org are being used to pay for the posters. In the past, posters have primarily been paid through the departments’ current state funds or through a faculty startup fund.<\/li>\n
            5. Start a requisition in Marketplace. Start this by searching for “Marshall Univ Research Corp” (searching for “MURC” or other variations will not work), selecting “View Supplier”, and creating a requisition for a non-catalogue item (upper right side of vendor\u2019s page). Add the approved ticket number in Marketplace.<\/li>\n
            6. List the correct fund and org for the poster payment; if one invoice contains multiple posters paid from different funds\/orgs, keep the total amount of the invoice as one item, but split the funding for this item.<\/li>\n
            7. Attach the invoice under the \u201cattachment\u201d section in Marketplace.<\/li>\n
            8. Complete the requisition in Marketplace.<\/li>\n
            9. You will receive an email that will contain a PO confirmation signed by Michelle Wheeler and will be emailed to you by Becky Neace.
