This is often complicated by the desire to publish and present research during their first two or three years while also teaching full-time. The key is to develop new and effective practices for a new environment. These sessions are designed to provide new faculty with information about resources and research services on campus to help jumpstart their research productivity.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions will discuss information such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marshall\u2019s institutional review board (ORI)<\/li>\n<li>incorporating undergraduate and graduate students into research<\/li>\n<li>working on grants<\/li>\n<li>working with outside agencies<\/li>\n<li>starting your own lab<\/li>\n<li>writing abstracts<\/li>\n<li>choosing appropriate venues for presentations and publications, plus how to get started in both of these areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Questions?
