Initial plans are for the QI to focus on four goals: 1) increasing access to the university; 2) preparing students to live and work in a global\/diverse society; 3) promoting civil discourse; and 4) promoting learning through outreach to the community and engagement in high impact practices.<\/p>\n<p>This session will share activities that align to each of these goals. Current plans are to review equity in our policies and university practices (goal 1), to develop campus-wide programs and student organization projects that align to goals 2 and 3, and to establish an ethnographic program to study community engagement and community partners (goal 4).
