  • Only meeting organizers and presenters can start and stop the recording.<\/li>\n
  • If you plan to share your screen, click\u00a0 the Share content icon<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Select a sharing option: Screen, Window, Microsoft Whiteboard or PowerPoint Live.<\/li>\n
    • If you plan to include sound on the video, select “Include computer sound.”<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Click the three-dots icon<\/strong> for the menu. Select Start Recording<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        From the Teams meeting window, in the top-right meeting controls, you will see the “Share Content<\/strong>” icon (an up-arrow). Click the icon to share content.<\/p>\n

        Sharing options appear. Select a sharing option:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Screen<\/strong>: Choose this option to show your entire screen, including notifications and other desktop activity. If you have multiple monitors, you can select from any of your screens.<\/li>\n
        • Window:<\/strong>\u00a0Select the Window tile to list all your windows. Then share just that one window \u2014 and no notifications or other desktop activity. This option protects your privacy when sharing.<\/li>\n
        • Microsoft Whiteboard<\/strong>: Use this option to sketch and collaborate with others at the same time.<\/li>\n
        • PowerPoint Live:<\/strong>\u00a0Present a PowerPoint file. Select from recent files or upload a presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Be sure to account for your sound preferences:<\/p>\n

          • If you plan to share audio or video during a Teams meeting, participants will need to hear the sound from your computer. When setting up content sharing, be sure to activate the “include computer sound”<\/strong>\u00a0setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n
            \n Schedule Recurring Channel Meetings in Teams Calendar\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n <\/path>\n <\/svg>\n <\/span>\n <\/button>\n\n \n
            \n \n

            Recurring meetings have the same start time (e.g., 8 a.m.) and the same end time (e.g., 8:50 a.m.) for the entire meeting series. Your Teams Calendar is the same as your Outlook Calendar.<\/strong>\u00a0So meetings you add via Teams Calendar appear on your Outlook Calendar.<\/p>\n

            As you create a meeting in Microsoft Teams, locate the recurrence drop-down menu. By default, it is set to “Does not repeat.” Change to the desired recurrence.<\/p>\n

            Select a Teams channel for the recurring meeting series. Then click Send<\/strong>\u00a0to schedule the Teams channel meeting series and add it to your calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n

            \n Share a Stream Video\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n <\/path>\n <\/svg>\n <\/span>\n <\/button>\n\n \n
            \n \n

            You can only view shared videos if the video owner has allowed permissions.<\/p>\n

            • Go to the Stream app in the Microsoft suite (accessible within your Outlook)<\/li>\n
            • From the Stream video’s page, click the “Share”<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • A sharing screen appears with a web address to share the video. Click the “Copy Link” <\/strong>button to copy the link for sharing. Click the Close<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n
              • Share the copied link\u00a0 with those who have viewing access permissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n
                \n Take Attendance\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n <\/path>\n <\/svg>\n <\/span>\n <\/button>\n\n \n
                \n \n

                When meetings occurred in a channel, an attendance report appears for download as a channel post. If the meeting was not in a channel, you can rejoin the meeting to download the attendance list.<\/p>\n

                  \n
                • From inside the meeting, click the Participants icon<\/strong> on the meeting controls to reveal the column.<\/li>\n
                • From the “Participants” column, click the three-dots menu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                • Click Download the\u00a0attendance list<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Signing Out<\/h3>\n

                  Many problems can be fixed by signing out of Teams then signing in again. To be clear, this doesn’t mean turning your computer on and off. You must sign out of Teams.<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  In the upper right of the Microsoft Teams main window, note your profile icon.<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • Select your\u00a0profile icon<\/strong>\u00a0to reveal a dropdown menu.<\/li>\n
                  • From the menu, select\u00a0Sign out<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                  • After signout, will be prompted to sign in again.<\/li>\n
                  • If the issue remains, contact IT services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Forcing Teams to Quit When Frozen<\/h3>\n

                    Windows users\u00a0can force Teams to quit by pressing the Ctrl, Alt and Delete keys together on your keyboard. A screen appears with a list of actions.<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    • Select Task Manager.<\/li>\n
                    • From the Task Manager window, select Microsoft Teams.<\/li>\n
                    • Then click or tap End Task. Teams is forced to quit.<\/li>\n
                    • Relaunch Teams to resume use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n
                      \n Create Polls and Surveys\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n <\/path>\n <\/svg>\n <\/span>\n <\/button>\n\n \n
                      \n \n

                      Create a poll. Launch it before, during, or after your meeting.<\/h3>\n
