After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Literary Studies from Marshall University, he continues his education at Marshall in pursuit of both an M.A. in English and a Women’s Studies graduate certificate. Nathan’s research examines the intersections of queer and posthuman theories within the works of Octavia Butler, FKA twigs, and Toni Morrison. Alongside his duties as a graduate assistant, Nathan writes and reads for events like Take Back the Night and CONTACT Rape Crisis Center’s annual monologues project.
