Falling in his father’s footsteps, Rick Robinson, chose to study at Marshall University because it was familiar for him. Growing up, he often attended sporting events on campus with his family. Obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in physical education and adult fitness and a Master of Science in physical education and exercise physiology, Rick remained at Marshall because of the opportunities that were presented to him.
Joining the Marshall University Foundation as a Senior Director of Development in 2007, Rick primarily builds relationships in West Virginia and the southern United States. He believes the best part of his job is interacting with Marshall alumni and friends.
“My hope for Marshall is that it continues to flourish and strengthen itself as a top rated academic institution,” said Rick.
A resident of Huntington, West Virginia, Rick enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor recreation and is involved in assisting with youth sports.
