Sarah Kay, a native of Cape Town, South Africa, chose to attend Marshall University on a swimming scholarship. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in international business and then her Master of Business Administration before accepting her current position as a director of philanthropy in 2015.
“I wanted an opportunity to give back. I was lucky to get my education through scholarships and saw a unique opportunity to give back to Marshall through working at the Foundation,” Sarah explained.
Connecting with alumni and friends in West Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia and Florida, Sarah believes the best part of her job is helping alumni and friends of Marshall create their legacy.
Sarah’s hobbies include spending time with friends and traveling.
“My hope for Marshall University is that it continues to grow and have a positive impact on Huntington.”
