{"id":3,"date":"2022-12-12T20:31:45","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T20:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/gainexperience\/?page_id=3"},"modified":"2022-12-12T20:37:15","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T20:37:15","slug":"handshake","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/gainexperience\/handshake\/","title":{"rendered":"Handshake"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>For Students<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>All active Marshall students have an account created for them.<\/li>\n<li>To access your account for the first time,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mymu.marshall.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">log into MyMU<\/a>, and under the <strong>Resources\/Tools<\/strong> tab, choose the option to &#8220;Handshake&#8221; \u00a0This will log you into Handshake automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-green my-3\" href=\"https:\/\/marshall.joinhandshake.com\/stu\/appointments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Schedule an appointment on Handshake<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>For Alumni<\/h2>\n<p>There are two ways for alumni to log in\/authenticate to Handshake:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log in with SSO (Single Sign-On) via MyMU<\/li>\n<li>Log in with a unique set of Handshake credentials that would need to be created<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Student (Alumni) Registration Process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.com\/register<\/li>\n<li>Enter your Marshall email<\/li>\n<li>Enter Marshall University for school<\/li>\n<li>Enter a password<\/li>\n<li>You will then need to fill out basic personal information<\/li>\n<li>Once these fields are completed, this will create the account and send an email confirmation.
