The non-refundable application fee is $40.

Individuals applying to multiple graduate programs must submit an application for each program and a fee for each application. Online applicants should receive an email from within 24-48 hours after application with information about how to pay the application fee. They can then pay the fee securely online using a credit card, mail a check, or call the Admissions Office at 304-74671900 to pay by credit card over the phone. Please wait 24-48 hours before calling after you apply online, to be sure the office has received your online application in the system. Applicants who print and mail an application must include a check, money order, or bank draft payable to Marshall University.CREDIT CARD NOTE:  All credit card transactions include a 2.5% processing fee. Marshall University accepts Mastercard, VISA, Discover, and American Express.

Graduate Application For Admission Fee Waiver

  • Available for applicants with significant and documented financial need. Contact Graduate Admissionsfor more information.
  • Available for applicants who already hold a master’s degree from Marshall University and who are applying for admission to a master’s, non-degree, graduate certificate or professional development program. The master’s degree from Marshall must already be awarded and posted on the Marshall University transcript for eligibility (no exceptions). Those applying to an educational specialist or doctoral level program are not eligible for the waiver.
