For additional details please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/honors\/files\/HC-Policy-Revision-2018.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Honors College Policy Handbook<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0To remain in <strong>good standing<\/strong> in the Honors College, students must be enrolled in a bachelor\u2019s degree program and must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/honors\/current-students\/firstyear_check-in\/\">First-year Check-In Advising Session<\/a> during their first semester<\/li>\n<li>Earn an overall GPA of 3.00 or higher at the end of their first semester at Marshall<\/li>\n<li>Complete 6 Honors credits in their first two semesters<\/li>\n<li>Register for HON 200 by Spring of their second year<\/li>\n<li>Complete at least 3 Honors credits each academic year until completion of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/honors\/advising\/\">Honors Curriculum<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Maintain an overall GPA of 3.30 or higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Failure to meet these standards will result in dismissal from the Honors College.
