Educational Benefits for Employees and Dependents
Marshall University provides tuition benefits to regular employees and their dependent children. Regular employees who have completed their initial probationary period are eligible to apply for tuition waivers and financial assistance. Employees may be permitted to enroll for classes during regularly scheduled work hours.
Marshall University offers three life insurance options through Securian, third-party administrator under PEIA; Basic Life, Optional Life, and Dependent Life. Coverage begins the first day of the month following enrollment and employment.
Marshall Health Medical Home
Separate medical home programs are sponsored by various insurance providers and include a variety of benefits. Marshall Health currently participates in sponsored medical home programs with these insurance companies.
WV Health Bridge
West Virginia Health Bridge is like the Mountain Health Trust program. Both programs provide Medicaid health care services for you and your family. You can choose from the same MCOs and PCPs no matter which program you are in. You will get a packet in the mail telling you if you are in Mountain Health Trust or West Virginia Health Bridge.
