Request for Federal Emergency Sick Leave

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) is expired and has not been extended at this time.

Dear Employee:
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) expired on 12/31/2020 and the Federal Emergency Sick Leave and Child Care benefits that provided two weeks of leave and other forms of compensation was not extended.  Employees who are unable to work from home and have been quarantined due to COVID-19 will be eligible to use their sick leave and annual leave.  If an employee has exhausted their accrued leave banks, they may apply for FMLA/MLOA to have their situation reviewed.  If approved for FMLA/MLOA, the employee could be eligible to receive donations of catastrophic leave.”
