Rules and Policies<\/a><\/p>\n<p>HR created a chart showing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/human-resources\/files\/downloads\/2011\/10\/Grievance-Timelines-040607.pdf\">timelines<\/a> for the various levels of grievances.\u00a0 (Please note, this chart may be modified or superseded at a later date by a chart produced by the West Virginia Public Employees Grievance Board.\u00a0\u00a0In such event, the Board&#8217;s chart will be made available.)<\/p>\n<p>The Public Employees Grievance Board has posted on its web site several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pegb.wv.gov\/forms\/Pages\/default.aspx\">forms<\/a> related to the grievance process.\u00a0 These include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grievance<\/li>\n<li>Intervention<\/li>\n<li>Mediation<\/li>\n<li>Cost Report<\/li>\n<li>Level One Hearing Guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Employee Organization Registration Form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The statutory grievance process operates along a timeline as discussed above.\u00a0 From time to time, it may be necessary or desirable through agreement of the parties to waive the timeline for some step in the grievance process.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals wishing to file an initial grievance are asked to complete the grievance form for Level One described above and submit it
