While millions of Americans will be online looking for the best gifts and Cyber Monday deals, hackers will be looking to take advantage of unsuspecting shoppers by searching for weaknesses in their devices or internet connections or attempting to extract personal and financial information through fake websites or charities.

Check Devices
Make sure devices have the latest software updates and that your accounts are protected by strong passwords. Don’t forget to enable two-factor authentication, if available.
Shop Trusted Sources
Avoid suspicious links in emails, and only participate in online shopping via a private secure, secure network.
Safe Purchasing
Understand how your information will be used / processed prior to making a purchase. Check for secure payment processing with a leading https in the URL for secure connections.
