MURemote

Marshall University has developed a new Remote App and Desktop Connection Terminal to replace MUREMOTE.  You’ll notice some differences from the old MUREMOTE experience as this new environment is accessible from O365 with MFA and is not directly accessible via the MSTSC client.  You’ll also note that we have removed all of the published remote applications.  All applications will be accessible from the MUREMOTE Desktop Session link.

Please note:  MURemote is not the same method to remote to your office desktop.  If you previously used VPN to access your office device, you will continue doing the same.

MURemote should be used by Students, Faculty and Staff who need to:

  • Access a lab image that provides lab specific software, such as SPSS

VPN should be used to access:

  • MUBert
  • Banner
  • Remote Desktop into your Office device (you must know the device name)
  • Clocking in/out from off campus, including on a cell phone.

Please see the instructions below for accessing details.
