Over the next two months, Marshall University will be migrating all V: Drive storage to Microsoft OneDrive<\/strong>. You will receive a completion status message from IT Announcements (itannouncements-noreply@marshall.edu<\/a><\/strong>) once your V: Drive has been fully migrated.<\/p>\n

Once migration is complete, you will be able to access the files you previously stored on your V: Drive or Mac Home folder in several ways, including:<\/p>\n

  1. Logging in at https:\/\/myapps.microsoft.com<\/a><\/strong> and clicking the OneDrive tile.<\/li>\n
  2. Using the OneDrive app which is provided as part of your Marshall provided Office365 subscription here: https:\/\/portal.office.com\/account#installs<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Installing the OneDrive app on\u00a0 your Windows PC, Mac, or mobile device (iOS and Android).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please Note:<\/strong>\u00a0 Students who have a public_html folder in your V: drive will not be moved at this time.\u00a0 If you currently have a public_html directory but no longer use it or wish to maintain it, contact the IT Service Desk and they can put in a ticket to have your V: drive moved.<\/p>\n

    Those users who have a public_html folder who are interested in moving that content should request a site at https:\/\/mupages.marshall.edu\/<\/a> and begin development of a new site to begin the transition.\u00a0 Users should then contact the IT Service Desk once you have deleted the public_html folder from your V: drive.\u00a0 The mupages site is currently under development.<\/p>\n
