This change will affect all Zoom users.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zoom will start requiring passcodes or waiting rooms for all Zoom meetings, beginning Sunday, September 27th, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This change will affect all previously scheduled meetings if they do not currently have a passcode set or waiting room enabled.
\nPLEASE NOTE<\/strong>: If you add Passcodes to an existing meeting, calendar invites will need to be resent to include the Passcode.<\/p>\n

What if I don\u2019t have a Waiting Room or Passcode enabled by September 27?<\/strong>
\nIf neither is enabled, Zoom will enable a Waiting Room for your meetings. You will need to admit participants into the meeting. If you set a passcode on a meeting before September 27, as the security option, the meeting link can be resent to participants and a waiting room will not be needed.<\/p>\n
