Administers appointment<br \/>\npaperwork requirements for faculty, staff, and student employees. Fulfills<br \/>\nadministrative requirements for faculty and other searches within area of<br \/>\nresponsibility.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manages and audits annual and sick leave records, and employee timesheets.<br \/>\nAdministers leave payouts. Prepares and approves online payroll certifications.<br \/>\nReviews and reconciles payroll registers, and updates pay distribution. Serves as the<br \/>\nlocal point of contact on payroll issues.<br \/>\n\u2022 Arranges and coordinates travel for department staff, faculty, and incoming guests<br \/>\nand speakers.<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain IT admin website; Process departmental PARs; Assist with IT Division<br \/>\nrecruiting process and facilitate approval for IT Travels.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide support for business workflow project.<br \/>\n\u2022 Participate in student service related activities like Student Orientation and Week of<br \/>\nWelcome.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in the development, implementation and administration of grants and<br \/>\ncontracts.<\/p>\n<h2>Required Education<\/h2>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration, information systems, or<br \/>\nrelated field.<\/p>\n<h2>Required Experience<\/h2>\n<p>One to two years of relevant experience in the field. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite applications. Strong<br \/>\nanalytical, organizational and time management skills, Excellent verbal and written<br \/>\ncommunication are essential. Ability to perform advanced research, ability to<br \/>\nprioritize tasks and to multi-task, ability and willingness to learn technology and<br \/>\nsoftware are also required.
