{"id":16455,"date":"2022-05-26T14:22:16","date_gmt":"2022-05-26T18:22:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/it\/?p=16455"},"modified":"2022-05-26T14:22:16","modified_gmt":"2022-05-26T18:22:16","slug":"employment-opportunity-digital-media-production-specialist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/it\/2022\/05\/26\/employment-opportunity-digital-media-production-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Employment Opportunity: Digital Media Production Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Job Description<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div>\u00b7 Setup and operate digital media production equipment, in both studio and on location.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Prepare various production forms \u2013 i.e. copyright and release forms.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Coordinate and supervise student assistants during production.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Creation of specialized multimedia content in interactive, static and dynamic formats.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Produce, write, direct and occasionally host instructional and training videos, promotional campaigns or public even programs including editorial changes, techniques, graphics and conceptual design.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Work with clients to determine content and format of digital media productions.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Advise faculty, staff, students, and clients concerning application of digital media equipment and methods.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Required Education<\/h2>\n<p>High school diploma.<\/p>\n<h2>Required Experience<\/h2>\n<div>\u00b7 Two years of digital media production experience.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Knowledge of OS and Software installs, PC Maintenance is required.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Applicant must be proficient with all aspects of digital media production including: non-linear editing software, digital media encoding\/streaming techniques and hardware, and live productions.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Applicant must possess a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/div>\n<div>\u00b7 Job requires thorough knowledge of a professional discipline or technical specialty as would normally be acquired through a relevant bachelor\u2019s degree program.
