As you know, Marshall University has transitioned to an Adobe Creative Campus in which all faculty and staff have access to Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat DC. (see more information about these products below).\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How will my access change?<\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting February 1<\/b><\/span>st<\/b><\/span>, 2025<\/b><\/span>, access to the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e., Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, etc.) will be by request only. While Adobe Express and Acrobat Pro will meet the needs of most users, we understand that some may require access to the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you need the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud, please <\/span>complete the request form<\/b><\/span><\/a> by February 1, 2025<\/b>. You\u2019ll need a business justification, fund\/org, and supervisor approval. Requests must be made annually, as licenses expire on June 30. We will send a reminder email to ensure you have ample time to renew your access.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The form will ask for a fund\/org, but don\u2019t worry! This fiscal year, departments will not need to pay for Adobe Creative Cloud.\u00a0Starting in FY 26, on July 1, 2025, the $50 per user license fee<\/strong>\u00a0will need to be covered by the requesting department, including departments requesting access for students to complete coursework.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What if I\u2019m not sure about the access I need?<\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The creative possibilities this partnership with Adobe brings to our university community through Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat Pro are truly exciting. MUIT is happy to explore if these tools will fulfill the creative needs for you and\/or your students prior to utilizing the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
