On\u202fSunday, May 25th,\u202f2025,<\/b>\u202fMarshall University Information Technology will\u202freplace\u202fthe\u202fcertificate\u202fused to verify the authenticity of the wireless authentication servers. To keep user credentials safe,\u202fcertificate\u202fauthorities require these\u202fcertificates to be renewed every 12 months.<\/div>\n

WHAT ACTION DO I NEED TO TAKE?<\/b><\/div>\n

    After Sunday, May 25th, remove\/forget MU_Guest, MU WiFi, and eduroam networks<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n
    If you see \u201cConnect using a certificate,\u201d please click this option, otherwise log back in to MU WiFi with your full Marshall email as the username and password<\/b>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      When you connect to \u201cMU WiFi\u201d\u202fafter the\u202fcertificate\u202fis renewed, you may be asked to verify and accept the new\u202fcertificate. The process for verifying and accepting the new\u202fcertificate\u202fvaries by device and the operating system installed on the device.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

      Instructions to accept the new\u202fcertificate\u202ffor\u202fthe most common devices and operating systems can be found on our website.<\/a>\u202fPlease make note, you may also need to “forget” your network settings for MU WiFi and reconnect.
