Welcome to the Japanese Program at Marshall University

Students study Japan, its culture, literature, and language here in Huntington, WV or through affiliated programs in Nagoya (Chukyo University)  and Osaka (Kansai Gaidai University). Choosing a major or minor allows for complete immersion in the language and culture of Japan. We offer a major in Japanese Language and minors in Japanese Language and Japanese Studies.

The Japanese Program is also associated with three interdisciplinary minors:

Tatsumi Scholarship from the Department of Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Washington to continue pursuing a M.A. in International Studies.
