Camps

The June Harless Center for Rural Educational Research and Development is proud to offer summer camps on Marshall’s campus for students entering 3rd through 5th grades.   The theme for the camps this year is Exploring S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics).

Two weeks of camps will be offered for children.

EXPERIMENTING WITH SCIENCE

WHO:              Children entering 3rd grade through 5th grade

WHEN:            Monday, June 23, 2014 – Thursday, June 26, 2014; 9am – 12pm with a snack provided.

WHERE:          Marshall’s Campus, Jenkins Hall B7

COST:             $150 per child

INTRODUCTION TO ARTS AND BOTS: EXPLORING ROBOTICS AND THE ARTS!

WHO:             Children entering 3rd grade through 5th grade who are new to robotics programming

WHEN:           Monday, July 7, 2014 – Thursday, July 10, 2014; 9am – 12pm with a snack provided

WHERE:         Marshall’s Campus, Jenkins Hall B7

COST:            $150 per child

WHEN:            Monday, June 16, 2014 – Thursday, June19, 2014; 9am – 1pm with a snack provided.

WHERE:          Robert C. Byrd Institute

COST:             $100 per child
