Eligibility To Access Electronic Resources From Off-Campus

Due to license agreements with library vendors, the MU Libraries are only permitted to provide off-campus database access to current students and employees of Marshall University.

Current members of the MU Alumni Association are eligible for off-campus access to EBSCOhost Alumni Edition (consult the Alumni Association for password information).

Marshall University is not permitted to grant access or sell database passwords to third parties such as local researchers, special card holders, K-12 students, Huntington community members, or Library Associates.  The Library Associates community borrower's card or any non-student or staff card does not include access to off-campus materials or interlibrary loan. Only off-campus access is restricted. Any library patron may use electronic materials within a library building or computing facility in Huntington or at any of Marshall’s branch campuses. Patrons can search, save, download, or print from databases and electronic library resources as long as they have an MUNET account and are using computers within the Marshall University computing system.
