In addition to online access to over 100 databases in various subject areas and more than 4500 unique journal, magazine and newspaper titles in full-text, the libraries provide interlibrary loan and document delivery service and research assistance to students in classes offered through the Marshall University <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/map\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">regional campuses<\/a>, BlackBoard online courses, dual enrollment and military programs. As an off-campus or distance student you can order books and articles to be mailed to you at your home address. A photocopying fee or return mailing costs may apply.<\/p>\n<h2>Find Out If A Specific Periodical Is Available Online<\/h2>\n<p>Search <a href=\"https:\/\/ld4qw7em5h.search.serialssolutions.com\/\">Journals Search<\/a>, typing in the specific periodical title you are looking for. If the periodical is available online, you will see a <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.marshall.edu\/az.php\">database<\/a> name where you can view full-text articles from that periodical.<\/p>\n<h2>Find Books<\/h2>\n<p>Search the <a href=\"https:\/\/mulibiiidb.marshall.edu\/search\/X\">library catalog<\/a> to locate books, videos, sound recordings, government documents, and other items in the Marshall University libraries. Order items through your IDS account. Links to our collections of e-books are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/library\/research\/e-resources\/\">e-resources<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Find Articles<\/h2>\n<p>Use a library <em>database<\/em> to locate full-text articles as well as citations to articles.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"liststyle\">\n<li>A good place to begin your research is with <a href=\"https:\/\/marshall.idm.oclc.org\/login?url=http:\/\/search.ebscohost.com\/direct.asp?db=aph\"> Academic Search Premier<\/a> from EBSCOHost where you will find numerous full-text articles that you can print off.<\/li>\n<li>For extensive news coverage (including the full-text of the Charleston papers), try <a href=\"https:\/\/marshall.idm.oclc.org\/login?url=http:\/\/www.NexisUni.com\">Nexis Uni<\/a>, also full-text.<\/li>\n<li>Use the databases list to select a subject-specific database: <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.marshall.edu\/az.php\">All Databases by Title<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Items that you cannot access full-text online can be ordered through your IDS account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Get Online Help<\/h2>\n<p>Use the libraries&#8217; many <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.marshall.edu\/index.php\">research guides<\/a> to help you do research in a variety of subject areas from <em> art<\/em> to <em>women&#8217;s studies<\/em>.<br \/>\nOr use the guides at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/library\/services\/source_evaluation\/\">evaluating sources <\/a> to show you how to cite your sources, differentiate between popular and scholarly periodicals, or evaluate Web pages.
