The information is provided to let people know what has been banned\/challenged elsewhere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>2006<\/h2>\n<p>Challenged, but retained, at the Cherry Hill (NJ) Public Library&#8217;s Young Adult section by a parent claiming its &#8220;deplorable&#8221; content was unfit for young minds.<\/p>\n<h2>2004<\/h2>\n<p>Pulled from a Baldwin (KS) ninth grade class by the school district superintendent because &#8220;it was clear to him it wasn&#8217;t fit for his own daughter or granddaughter.&#8221; The original complaint objected to fifty passages that contained profanity and sexual content.<\/p>\n<h2>2002<\/h2>\n<p>Restricted, challenged and banned due to violent content and concerns that it was not appropriate for younger schoolchildren..<\/p>\n<h2>2001<\/h2>\n<p>Restricted in Arlington (TX) middle and high schools due to violent content. Challenged in Tamaqua (PA) over concerns that it was not appropriate for younger schoolchildren.
