The information is provided to let people know what has been banned\/challenged elsewhere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>2020<\/h2>\n<p>Winner of the 1941 Caldecott Medal, this nonfiction children&#8217;s book tells stories about the author&#8217;s family. A patron of the Tigard (OR) Public Library complained about two concerns: slavery was mentioned without being condemned, and there were stereotypical representations of American Indians.
