The information is provided to let people know what has been banned\/challenged elsewhere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>2015<\/h2>\n<p>Suspended from the Highland Park (TX) Independent School District&#8217;s approved book list by the school superintendent. The decision sparked a backlash and drew national attention. The superintendent then reinstated the book. In February 2015, the school district trustees approved policy changes on how the district selects books and handles parents&#8217; objections. This classic novel, written in 1922, is about the spiritual journey of a man living in the time of Buddha.
