The information is provided to let people know what has been banned\/challenged elsewhere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>2014<\/h2>\n<p>Retained in the Teton High School sophomore English class in Driggs (ID) despite concerns about the novel&#8217;s mature content.<\/p>\n<h2>2009<\/h2>\n<p>Banned from the Orestimba High School&#8217;s English classes in Newman (CA) by the superintendent after complaints that is book is profane and anti-Catholic. Teachers claimed the superintendent circumvented the district&#8217;s policies on book challenges and set a dangerous precedent.<\/p>\n<h2>2005<\/h2>\n<p>Pulled by the Norwood (CO) Schools Superintendent after 2 parents complained about profanity in the book.
