Marshall\u2019s Online Summer Math Program to Boost Skills, Confidence, and Placement<\/h3>\n

MATH STAMPEDE (M<\/strong>astery, A<\/strong>chievement, and T<\/strong>utoring for the H<\/strong>erd.\u00a0S<\/strong>tudents T<\/strong>hundering A<\/strong>head in M<\/strong>ath P<\/strong>reparation, E<\/strong>mpowerment, and D<\/strong>evelopment to E<\/strong>xcellence) helps incoming Marshall students prepare for success by building math skills, improving placement, and boosting confidence before classes begin. The program uses ALEKS, an adaptive online system that assesses what you already know and identifies the areas where you need additional preparation. This placement process is designed to ensure that you start in the math course that is the best fit for your current skills\u2014challenging enough to move you forward, but not so difficult that you are set up to struggle.<\/p>\n

Beyond placement, ALEKS provides a personalized preparation and learning experience that helps you strengthen your skills over the summer. It focuses only on the topics you need, so your time is used efficiently, and it revisits concepts if you begin to forget them. With consistent effort, many students are able to improve their placement and move into a higher-level course with confidence, knowing they have the background needed to succeed.<\/p>\n

We are currently updating MATH STAMPEDE for Summer 2026. Check back soon\u2014the full website will be available again by the end of the spring semester.<\/p>\n
