You may see yourself reflected in some of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unprepared for the volume and pace of a medical and professional school curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Find that study sessions are often long, boring, and unproductive<\/li>\n<li>Have difficulty connecting the details with the \u201cbig picture\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Rely on repetition for majority of study \u2013 read, reread, repeat<\/li>\n<li>Experience difficulty with recall of key information during exams<\/li>\n<li>Often rush to complete all questions on an exam<\/li>\n<li>Struggle with time management and organization resulting in both academic and personal difficulties<\/li>\n<li>May struggle with stress, anxiety, and low self-esteem<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit learning difficulties that were not obvious earlier in academic career<\/li>\n<li>Often struggle with undiagnosed Attention-Deficit\/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and\/or Specific Learning Disorder (SLD)<\/li>\n<li>Have lost confidence as a student<\/li>\n<li>Always seem to be the last person in the library with little to no measurable increase in exam performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our program works with a diverse population of students, but over the years we have noticed they often share certain characteristics.
