At the time, Ajia didn\u2019t have a job lined up but saw the program as a vital step in securing her professional future while remaining close to her family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love the friends and community I\u2019ve found here in Huntington,\u201d Ajia said. \u201cI want to stay close to home while also being able to grow professionally in an environment I\u2019m adapted to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ajia\u2019s experience with First Ascent has exceeded her expectations. She highlighted the mentorship and success coaching opportunities as particularly beneficial. These resources provided her with guidance and support, helping her pursue professional goals.<\/p>\n<div class=\"block border-t-2 border-b-2 py-6 mt-6 lg:border-t-0 lg:border-b-0 mb-8 lg:float-right lg:pl-8 lg:py-6 lg:w-1\/3 lg:-mr-24 xl:-mr-32 lg:mt-4 lg:ml-8 lg:mb-4 lg:border-l-4 border-green \">\n\t<span class=\"text-gray-700 font-semibold text-lg leading-5 bg-repeat-x bg-size-[100%_6px] bg-position-[0_90%] bg-linear-to-r from-green\/10 to-green\/10\">&#8220;It\u2019s helped me to keep a sense of purpose after college.&#8221; <\/span>\n\n\t\t\t<span class=\"block text-right w-full mt-4 uppercase font-medium\">- Ajia Toth<\/span>\n\t<\/div>\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s helped me to keep a sense of purpose after college, one that helped me to pursue long-term goals in my professional life,\u201d Ajia said.<\/p>\n<p>One of the standout moments for Ajia was the Bridging Innovations conference. Her experience as a remote employee has been both challenging and rewarding. Balancing three part-time jobs in a non-profit sector has taught her resilience and adaptability, skills that are crucial in the remote work landscape.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want more people to realize that First Ascent does more for than just coach you in working remotely, but offers events like camping trips, coworking spaces, and lots of social events to meet other First Ascent members.
