Pediatric Feeding Clinic

The ability to consume food is one most of us take for granted, but for many children, getting the proper nourishment is far from simple. At Marshall University’s Pediatric Feeding Clinic, an interdisciplinary team of specialists will provide your child with the skills necessary to treat feeding or swallowing problems.

Feeding and swallowing problems require a comprehensive approach as they are extremely complex and surprisingly common in children. Without adequate treatment, these disorders can have lasting effects on a child’s emotional and physical development.

Feeding difficulties can be caused by behavioral problems, developmental issues and a wide range of medical conditions. Our center serves children with various medical diagnoses on a case by case basis.
