Overtime will need to be approved and budgeted in advance.<\/li>\n<li>EMPLOYEES converted from exempt to non-exempt will have to be paid overtime pay for all hours worked over 40 int he work week. This may also include compensatory time.<\/li>\n<li>Checking email and doing work outside of the normal work schedule will change the way these converted employees accomplish their \u201cday-to-day\u201d work after January 1, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Converted employees are now eligible for overtime.
