COEPD Students: Meet with your Music Advisor first.<\/li>\n<li>Using the fillable\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dynamicforms.ngwebsolutions.com\/casAuthentication.ashx?InstID=cade935a-cfad-4410-b039-e0d18d946b0d&amp;targetURL=https%3a%2f%2fdynamicforms.ngwebsolutions.com%2fSubmit%2fStart%2f0cdd524c-579d-4d6d-a3be-d59c96075bc1\">School of Music Advising Contract<\/a>, prepare your proposed course schedule prior to your appointment.<\/li>\n<li>Discuss your proposed course schedule with your advisor.<\/li>\n<li>On your designated day for registration, you may register online for all courses on your schedule, including applied lessons.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you have any questions, please email Dr. Julio Alves at <a href=\"mailto:alves@marshall.edu\">alves@marshall.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Frequently Asked Questions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>What about permission for applied lessons?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #363a3d;\">You will receive permission for applied lessons after your advisor has approved your schedule.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How do I know what section of recital or capstone to sign up for?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Alves will assign you a section, and you will be given permission to register for that section online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who needs to sign up for MUS 376?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You need to sign up for MUS 376 if you are planning to give your junior BFA recital or your Senior BA recital (music education) next semester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #363a3d;\">How many credits of lessons do I sign up for? And how do I do that?<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #d5dade;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #363a3d;\">Your School of Music Advising Contract will indicate how many credits to sign up for.<\/span><span style=\"color: #d5dade;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #363a3d;\">Make sure you type the CRN into the online registration \u2013 don\u2019t do a \u201csearch\u201d.<\/span><span style=\"color: #d5dade;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #363a3d;\">Using the pulldown menu, select 1 or 2 credits as appropriate.<\/span><span style=\"color: #d5dade;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #363a3d;\">If you have difficulties, email <a href=\"mailto:registrar@marshall.edu\">registrar@marshall.edu<\/a>.
