In addition, $750 is provided for the participating faculty mentor. The program is open to students in the College of Science, College of Business, College of Liberal Arts, College of Arts and Media, College of Engineering and Computer Sciences, College of Health Professions and the Honors College.<\/p>\n<p>Fall 2021 awardees are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cartwright, Caroline (College of Science) \u2013 The Study of Trabecular Bone Density in Recent Modern Humans<\/li>\n<li>Caudill, Rachel (College of Science) \u2013 Comparing the Pollen Collected by Two Species of long-horned bees (Melissodes agilis and M.trinodis, family Apidae)<\/li>\n<li>Kukharskaya, Irina (College of Science) \u2013 Effect of Epigenetic Drift on Aging<\/li>\n<li>Stamper, Payton (College of Science) \u2013 Identifying Different Plants Used by Alfalfa Leah-cutter Bees for Nest Construction<\/li>\n<li>Okubo, Marie (College of Health Professions) \u2013 Determing the Relationship between Fatigue and Dysfunctional Shoulder Movement Patterns in High School Volleyball Athletes<\/li>\n<li>Parker, Abigail (College of Health Professions) \u2013 Differentiating Three Species of Wild Bees (Hylaeus spp., Colletidae) Using the COI Barcode<\/li>\n<li>Thomas, Peyton (College of Health Professions) \u2013 Sex and Age Effects on Skeletal Muscle Energy System in Response to Exercise<\/li>\n<li>Wellman, Sydney (College of Health Professions) \u2013 Knee Injuries in High School Volleyball Players: Assessing Fatigue, Muscle Activation and Join Motion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The two awardees of the John Marshall Scholars Award program will receive a semester-long, four-course reassigned time commitment.
