The afternoon features music by Bach, Corigliano, Clarke, Holst, Roussel and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif\">\u201cAudiences can savor an evening of rare musical treats, featuring some lesser-known composers in exciting collaborations,\u201d Waugh said. \u201cWhile music for three treble instruments \u2014 flute, violin, and soprano voice \u2014 is rarely heard in classical music, this\u00a0diverse and accessible repertoire spans several genres including folk, classical and contemporary pieces.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif\">The concert is free and open to the public, with sponsorship from the School of Music in the College of Arts and Media and Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Marshall University School of Music will present \u201cTriple Treble, a Faculty Recital\u201d at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 513 10th St., Huntington.
