He sees patients at Marshall Health exclusively through in-office telemedicine visits. Patients are first assessed by a medical professional before connecting with Beg through a real-time video conference. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">He has practiced adult rheumatology for more than 17 years with health care groups in Texas and, most recently, Virginia. Beg earned his medical degree from the University of Karachi in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, followed by a rheumatology fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certification in Rheumatology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Beg also serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. His educational interests focus on a group of inflammatory diseases that affect the spine and joints.
