All participating students secured placements in mental health settings across the country\u2014 a critical final step before earning their degrees.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the final training experience for our students, similar to a physician\u2019s residency,\u201d said Dr. Keith Beard, Psy.D. program director. \u201cThey\u2019ve completed rigorous clinical work, and now they\u2019ll represent Marshall while delivering mental health care nationwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More than 4,200 applicants competed this year for limited internship slots.
