The 62nd Annual International Festival celebrates global cultures through food, music and community connection.

The event will feature interactive cultural exhibits, live performances, traditional attire, international cuisine and the signature Parade of Countries. Each participating group will showcase the customs, history and artistry of their country or region, offering an immersive and educational experience for attendees.

“The International Festival, in my opinion, is truly one of Marshall University’s most beloved traditions,” said Shaunte Polk, director of Access, Connections & Engagement (ACE) on Marshall’s campus. “It’s a day when our campus transforms into a global village. What makes it so special is the way it brings people together — students, families and community members — to experience the beauty, flavor and rhythm of cultures from all around the world, right here in Huntington.”

Participants include student organizations, academic departments, Sodexo Dining Services, the Office of International Student Services and local cultural groups and performers from across the Tri-State Area.

The festival is coordinated by Marshall’s ACE Office within the Division of Student Affairs, in collaboration with students, faculty, staff and community partners.

“This festival is more than an event; it’s a celebration of connection,” Polk said. “Whether you come for the incredible food, the vibrant performances or the chance to learn something new from our international students and community partners, you leave with a deeper appreciation of the people who strengthen our campus and our city.
