Smith Center for Business and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Collective 37 is a student-run, student-developed communications agency, working alongside Jurna, an innovative income-based education funding start-up launching at Marshall.<\/p>\n<p>George Sauter, CEO of Jurna and former global chief investment officer at Vanguard, will deliver the keynote address, followed by a panel discussion featuring Marshall graduates Darrin Bird, Kathy Cosco, and Sean Hornbuckle.<\/p>\n<p>Bird is plant director at HBE for Special Metals, bringing expertise in engineering and manufacturing. Cosco serves as vice president of government and external affairs for Marshall Health Network, with a background in healthcare and public affairs. Hornbuckle is a financial advisor with Edward Jones and a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, offering perspective on finance and public service.<\/p>\n<p>Titled \u201cBeyond the Degree: Making the Most of Your Future,\u201d the event offers students and community members insights on building a meaningful and impactful career.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For students, their education is a great foundation for the rest of their lives, but two people with the same education have different life experiences,\u201d Sauter said. \u201cI\u2019m excited to help students understand the differentiating factors&#8211;to think like an investor in their future. Emphasizing skills like saving consistently, building real relationships, and making intentional career choices can set them up for success.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The panel will be moderated by Marshall Student Body President Connor Waller and Mackenzie Morley, founding partner of Sunday and Company.
