Marshall University\u2019s iCenter (Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) will host its inaugural Business Value Builder Summit from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Dutch Miller Deck at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.<\/p>\n

The summit will bring together business owners, family business leaders, startup founders, CEOs and executive teams for an afternoon focused on building stronger, more valuable companies. Through conversations on growth, transition and exit strategies, attendees will explore how intentional leadership, scalable systems and value creation can help businesses thrive at every stage of their journey.<\/p>\n

Built around the idea that \u201ca business built to sell is a business built to last,\u201d the Business Value Builder Summit will provide practical insights for leaders who want to grow their companies, create future options and build lasting impact, whether their future includes continued growth, succession or acquisition.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany business owners spend their time focused on today\u2019s challenges, but the decisions they make today determine the strength and value of their business tomorrow,\u201d said Tricia Ball, executive director of the iCenter. \u201cThis summit is an opportunity to bring business leaders together to learn form experts who have built, grown and transitioned successful companies. By helping leaders create more valuable businesses, we are strengthening the foundation for economic growth and opportunity across the region.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event features nationally recognized business leaders, including:
\n\u2022 Scott Snider, co-owner and president of the Exit Planning Institute
\n\u2022 Brad D. Smith, former CEO and executive chairman of Intuit, president of Marshall University
\n\u2022 Rob Slagel, owner and CEO of Owner\u2019s Co-Pilot<\/p>\n

Early registration is available for $99 per person through Aug. 31. Beginning Sept. 1, registration increases to $150 per person. Registration includes summit admission, lunch, a networking happy hour and copies of two business leadership books.<\/p>\n
