It is not a paid internship, but selected students receive $300 for project materials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Applications are open to full-time, undergraduate students from any major. Selected students will create artistic and creative works inspired by the NASA mission while gaining experience in science communication.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Students with interests in the following areas are encouraged to apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">Visual arts and graphic design<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Photography and videography<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Music and creative writing<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Animation<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Communications and marketing<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Education<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Other creative disciplines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Applicants must submit samples of their creative work and provide a faculty or staff reference.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The application deadline is 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28. (12 p.m. PDT.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Marshall students selected for the program may also be eligible for a $2,000 West Virginia NASA Space Grant scholarship, subject to program eligibility requirements.
