It will be at 3 p.m. Sept. 27 in Smith Recital Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The recital will feature Dr. Michael Stroeher on trombone and Dr. Sara Lee on piano, performing \u201cAnthony Plog\u2019s Four Themes on Paintings of Goya,\u201d accompanied by paintings from artist Francisco Goya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoya was one of the most influential painters of the 19th century and is considered one of the first modernists,\u201d said Stroeher, a professor of low brass at Marshall. \u201cThe music is a depiction of some of the bizarre and inspirational aspects of his style.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The concert is free and open to all.
