{"id":29843,"date":"2026-09-24T10:01:57","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T14:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/news\/?p=29843"},"modified":"2026-09-24T10:02:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T14:02:09","slug":"marshall-engineering-earns-high-marks-in-u-s-news-rankings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/news\/2026\/09\/marshall-engineering-earns-high-marks-in-u-s-news-rankings\/","title":{"rendered":"Marshall Engineering earns high marks in U.S. News Rankings"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>For decades, Marshall\u2019s engineering program has built a tradition of excellence and success with a number of accomplishments, and now it\u2019s achieved a new milestone by ranking #55 (tied) in the latest U.S. News and World Report Rankings of Best Undergraduate Engineering Schools (Non-Doctorate).<\/p>\n<p>The ranking includes more than 300 schools and places Marshall in the top 21% of the category.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarshall continues to make its mark on the engineering world,\u201d said Dr. David Dampier, dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences.\u00a0 \u201cThese rankings are an amazing testament to the dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re not only educating the next generation of engineers and technology professionals.
