Smith Center for Business and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>The event will feature a panel of distinguished local leaders who will share insights from their professional and personal leadership journeys. The panel includes:<\/p>\n<p>Ben Eng, associate professor, Lewis College of Business, Marshall University<br \/>\nAnna Williams, associate attorney, Marshall University<br \/>\nBrandi Jacobs-Jones, senior vice president for operations, Marshall University<br \/>\nKaylin Jorge, executive director, Huntington Area Development Council<br \/>\nScott Raynes, president and CEO, Marshall Health Network<\/p>\n<p>The panelists will discuss the qualities of effective leadership and offer guidance to students interested in developing the skills needed to lead in their communities, careers and organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The fireside chat is designed to provide students with an opportunity to learn from accomplished leaders, ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations about leadership, service and professional growth.<\/p>\n<p>A Meet and Mingle reception with the panelists will immediately follow the discussion and will serve as a networking opportunity for all.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and open to Marshall students and members of the university and Huntington community.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Marshall University Student Government Association (SGA) will host a Student Leadership Fireside Chat from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the Encova Auditorium at the Brad D.
